From the estate of USAAC Lt. Colonel George Ohrbert is a very rare KM stein. I have seen lots of Heer steins, but this is the first KM stein I have encountered. The colors are a bit faded. The cruiser Deutschland had an interesting history, serving in the Spanish Civil War, then used as a surface raider at the start of WW2. In 1940 she was renamed Lutzow, and participated in the Battle of Norway. She was damaged and returned to Germany for repairs. She ran aground during an attack on PQ 17 and again returned to Germany for repairs. Ended service as a gun platform defending German troops against the Russians. Very rare stein. Stein had to be issued before 1940. Has a semi circle mark on the side that appears to have been done during firing of the stein. Other than the fading, stein in great shape.

Been a long time since Ive seen a named Navy dagger with matched scabbard.... Bright blade showing some light age but no pitting with crisp etching to both sides....Rates just shy of Ex... Name is deeply inscribed by hand on blade and scabbard...! No nicks and never sharpened. Has its early orange/dark yellow celluloid handle showing some minor chipping near guard on side and near pommel on side....not visible front head on. Easy to replace grip if need be. This is an extremely nice quality, May 1944 pattern, deep navy blue wool/rayon blend construction cap features fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and forward sides and golden yellow wool rank piping to the top edges. The fold down panels are hand-stitched in the upright position at the front center of the cap as is typical. Has signatures of eleven top Knights Cross winners, including Otto Kretschmer, Gunther Rall, Erich Topp,Jurgen Oesten, Siegfried Koitscha,Hans-Georg Hess, Horst von Schroeter, Helmut Witte, and other notable persons, including. Gerd Thater, Herbert Werner, and Kurt Diggins. All signatures obtained post war, many of these knights have sailed on to other seas, I believe the signatures alone are worth the price. It is full length, 45" (114 cm), the 1936 to 1945 pattern, woven, black rayon construction cap tally features machine woven, Gothic script, "Torpedo = und Nachrichtenschule," in golden yellow celleon threads. The ends of the tally are cut at a diagonal angle which would create the "swallowtail", affect when applied to the cap. It is in excellent condition and does not glow under blacklight. Original German WWII Kriegsmarine 100cm x 170cm Naval Battle Flag. German 'Reichskriegsflagge' (National War Flag). The national war flag was flown on all Kriegsmarine warships, Luftwaffe airfields and all buildings owned by the Wehrmacht. The flag is made of dual-sided printed wool, the flag is having reinforcement stitching and is complete with its original cord with loop. The flag is sized 100x170cms which is a medium size. It has seen some action by the looks of numerous stains, small hols, and a small tare on the bottom corner about 1 inch, other than that, it is in very good condition for all the years it survived.
