HEER M34 enlisted Feldmutze brought home by a U.S. vet. Early thick & soft field-green wool, Brownish-grey cotton lining, BEVO insignia on dark-green, soutasche was period removed. Fairly light wear & no damage, but all over brownish toning.

This is a very Early Blue DJ/HJ Winter Side Cap (Hitlerjugend (HJ) Schiffchen "Wintermutze"). This winter side cap is in dark blue wool with a gray cotton lining. The HJ badge has been handsewn. Most likely this was a DJ cap as it is a very small size. There are no markings to the cap, but it has been properly constructed and stitched. It has been worn, but in no way abused. No mothing anywhere! It is considered an extremely rare cap.

For your consideration, an SS-VA hat marked 1933. Only one I have seen in 50 years of collecting, marked with SS runes in a circle and stamped SS-VA 1933, Jawless skull and early eagle have some flaking and frosting to them. Sweatband in good shape. Overall condition of cap is great. Some wear to inside of cap. Rare and nice addition to an SS collection. Another one is listed on a noted dealer site for $10k plus.
Only Condor Legion Beret I have come across. Obtained from a noted dealer in Michigan in the 90's along with a Condor Legion Tank Badge (which I still have as well if interested)
No markings to the beret, top of beret confirms with circular design of the later panzer beret. No mothing.
Has a small tassel on top. Interesting display for Condor Legion. Apparently used by Spanish volunteers of the Legion if encountered without swastika. Ref. page 72 of the Legion Condor book by Roger Bender. Met him many times in San Jose at military shows, he really enjoyed my Art and Science Prize, only one he had encountered.

Very early era Luftwaffe regulation piped Shiffen Cap for Luft. Pioneer. In near new/mint condition.
Most collectors will not see another piped "first years" cap like this again. They are that rare.

This is a Nazi Fire Protection Police NCO Visor Cap (Feuerschutzpolizei Schirmmutze fur Mannschaften, dunkelblauer Mutzenkorper, schwarzer Samtbesatzstreifen) This is a fire protection police peaked visor cap for a noncommissioned officer. The body is dark blue with a black velvet trim stripes, reddish linings. It is complete with metal sovereign eagle Police II model, imperial cockade (slightly off center) and cap strap, black cap peak and without a manufacturer. Great minty example of a M43 army cap converted at the factory from a M42 cap. Cap has a factory sewn insignia in the T form. Nearly unissued with very little wear except some paint on the buttons. Lining is standard brown/gray cotton and maker marked with K.Goeppert A.G 1942. Size marked 57. Great example that was sent home by vet in 1945 along with two waffen SS fez.

This is a Wehrmacht Infantry NCO's Pelzmutze Fur Winter Hat (Wehrmacht Pelzmutze mit weissem Kaninchenfellbezug). This is a field-gray wool construction cap of white rabbit fur with fold down side ear lugs and back panels. The cloth tie-string is complete. It has a gray, quilted rayon liner. The interior is clearly marked "RBN ?0035/0093, 55, K43," and thus the cap is a size 55. The "K43" is for "Koln 1943." Wehrmacht aluminum eagle attached to the front. This is an extremely nice cap in near mint condition. I purchased it in 2004 from The Collector's Guild in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.

This is a SA-Lagermutze Overseas Cap for SA Gruppen Niedersachsen (SA-Wehrmannschaften Schiffchen fur Mannschaften im SA Stab mit SA-Gruppe Niedersachsen, um 1939). This is a brown colored wool cap, with an expansion fold along its crown and fold-down side panels. The side panels scallop downwards towards the front of the cap. Positioned over the center of this forward, vertical seam is a 19 mm metal button. Sewn to the left side panel is a machine woven SA eagle on chocolate brown with original machine stitching to the cap and this cap was for SA Gruppen Niedersachsen. This is a Women's Helper Firebrigade Schiffchen/Feldmutze Overseas Cap (III. Reich Feuerloschpolizei Schiffchen fur weibliche Helfer). This overseas cap is constructed of blue-green HBT fabric. There is a carmine machine-embroidered fire police eagle hand-sewn to the front of the cap. It has an extremely clean, complete rayon liner. The liner is marked "RB Nr. 0/0496/0764" and it is a size marked "57." There's a manufacture tag still inside the flap. There are no holes or mothing on this cap. This is an extremely nice clean cap that is in absolutely great condition! I purchased it in 2012 from Butschek Antiques in Regensburg, Germany.

This is a NSKK EM/NCO's Overseas Cap for SA Gruppen Sudwest with RZM Tag (NSKK Schiffchen/Feldmutze eines Sturmmann der Motorgruppe Sudwest). This is an extremely well preserved NSKK Enlisted Member's Feldmutze, constructed of a black cotton/wool blended fabric, with fold-down side and back panels attached to the cap on the left and right side via black threading, with aggressive downwards sloping scallops towards the front. The front of the cap features two vertically positioned aluminum buttons, as well as a NSKK Gruppe Sudwest insignia on the left side of the cap constructed of gold, black, and silver machine embroidery. Kriegsmarine officer's overseas cap with an enlisted hand-sewn eagle and cockade. Darkened gold bullion piping is hand-sewn, probably indicating that this was originally an em/nco cap that has been up-graded due promotion to commissioned rank. Cap has a couple pin-head vermin bites seen only on close examination. Inside forehead area shows a little use, and has a sewn-in red name "Strauch", a typical KM name type label. Size is un-marked, but is a size 58-59. Low Excellent
Panzer Officer's overseas cap with factory applied silver BeVo officer's eagle and hand applied cockade. No markings, but about a size 58. Interior with a tan satin liner and a leather sweatband attached to the front half of the cap, with some very slight sweat staining. Exterior without any mothing, tares or issues. The only negative I can say is some slight surface abraiding to a small spot of the left side soutache. A handsome example of an officer's overseas cap in an otherwise excellent condition.
Luftwaffe tropical M-41 with white piping indicating that the individual who wore this cap was attached to Herman Goring Division during its time in Italy or Sicily. The cap is un-marked and with its insignia hand-sewn, and with the white piping made during the caps construction. It is possible that the cap was made in Italy during the period the division was stationed there, being it is un-marked. The cap shows its age, but it does not show heavy use. There are some light sweat stains in the for-head area, and some wear in the rain, as the interior gromets have some light rusting. The left side has some small black stains like something splashed on it. It is about a size 57-58. High Good
Army tropical officer's M-41 with Signal soutache made by "Carl Halfar", and dated 1941. Both the eagle and the cockade are factory-sewn, as is the soutache. Cap shows much use, and shows stains and some minor snags. Has a small area of the soutache that is abraiding. In spite of its problems, it is guaranteed original cap that has been "there". Good

This is a Kriegsmarine Female Auxiliary (Marinehelferinnen) Bordmutze (Kriegsmarine Schiffchen fur Nachrichtenhelferinnen). This is an extremely nice quality, May 1944 pattern, deep navy blue wool/rayon blend construction cap features fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and forward sides and golden yellow wool rank piping to the top edges. The fold down panels are hand-stitched in the upright position at the front center of the cap as is typical. The rank piping indicates the ranks of Marineunterfuhrerin to Marineoberstabsfuhrerin inclusively. The front center of the fold down panels has a machine woven national eagle
Here is an very nice LW Paratrooper badge for the OS cap used by paratroopers of the 5th Fallshirmjager Div. serving in Italy. This badge was made in Milan Italy and was an unissued version. This the same type cap badge worn by Albert Kesselring during his pullback from the Allies in Sicily in 1943.
Bulgarian M43 hat with Panzer or SS head attachment and paperwork. First Bulgarian cap I have come across, I have read that King Boris wasn't too excited about becoming an ally of the Axis powers. Cap has seen some wear, has a few moth holes on top and is a been there piece. Has a Panzer or SS skull attached instead of the Bulgarian Coat of Arms. Buttons have crossed cannons with the number 5. Well marked on the inside. Comes with a document indicating service with the partisans in 1944-45. Has two pins (not pictured indicating union with the Soviet Union and Bulgaria. Interesting piece of history seldom encountered.
