Original M35 German Helmet with original liner. The shell has no dings/dents. Exterior camo was brushed applied, can see brush marks. Has nice double red cross painted emblems consistent with wear as is the camo paint. Side also has part of Luftwaffe decal showing through the paint. Side skirt marked Q66 and rear skirt marked 211. The liner is in very good shape showing some wear and has one broken finger which is still present. Liner has name wrote on it which I believe is the soldier that brought helmet home after war. Not sure if liner string is original. All rivets and washers present and look un-messed with. Nice original helmet which I believe is a period red cross helmet!

Decent helmet leather good. Helmets are getting hard to get and prices are going threw the roof. Alot of websites want 1500 for a helmet like this. I purchased this helmet few years back from gettysburg museum for the price is have listed. Any questions you can email emludwig427@gmail.com for a faster response. This helmet is what is commonly known as the Allgemeine-SS ?droop bill? transitional helmet. These were made commercially for the SS by contract, as they had no access to the Wehrmacht supply or recruitment systems until the late 1930s. The Finish started out as field gray and then was given a spray gloss black finish. What they did back in the day they took the field grey ones that they could purchase privately from manufactures and then they shot them up with a spray gun with black gloss paint on the outside and then put a circle on top of the liner and then shot up the inside of the rim. ( Photos here show that ) There are no decals, as this type of helmet was used prior to the advent of ss helmet Insignia. This was a common and expected Hallmark of ss prewar issue helmets. This is a fine example of a text book pre 35 SS parade helmo. Helmet stamped BE64 ( for maker F.C. Bellinger, Fulda )

At offer is a beautiful and extremely rare WWI Imperial German Machine Gun Battalion Officer's Shako. (The listing is for ONLY the Shako) It is complete other than the liner adjustment cord. The leather chin strap is present and in good condition. There is some staining on the felt as well as a few minor moth holes. Some tarnish is present on the eagle and rosettes. This was one of two WWI German items I obtained from the estate of a collector. The other is shown in the photos and is a Pickelhaube that is in bad condition and has been sold.
Under full disclosure 1st and foremost I will state that I am not a helmet collector. Therefore use your own judgement and expertise in this field to come to your own conclusion regarding this piece. This helmet is sold as is w/o return or refund. Please allow the photos to be your best description. Will consider best offer and or best trade for WW2 KL Textiles. Listing tonight what appears to be an original authentic WW2 German SS Allgermeine double decal black helmet. The decals I am told is what always comes into question with Nazi helmets. I was told that it is a period 1935. The lining buttons are alittle loose. The lining and chin strap were very dry so I have been applying alittle leather conditioner. The inner helmet metal was very dusty which was cleaned with a damp rag.. This piece origin was bought overseas no other history or provenance is known. There is some type of manufacturer number reverse backside upper lip of helmet. The helmet size is for a very small soldier.
An "Interesting" Camouflage painted double decal helmet, I bought this at a garage sale among other replica, and genuine items.
A 'conversation piece" for your coffee table. Gold eagle decals both sides/. Liner and chinstrap are leather.
It was bought "As Genuine" by a Young collector.
The rest of his Collection is listed in reproductions for a dirt cheap lot price!!
Not German, and not marked. Could be anything from National Chinese to Bulgarian? Spanish? Heck I don't know.
Still better than paying $4000 if you do not have that kind of dough to be throwing around!
He had a bunch of re-enactor stuff as well.
I bought a lot of genuine, but obviously used WW2 G.I. gear and uniforms too.
A rare type. This M-35 double decal was brought in and serviced for wartime use after France. It received a thick matte field grey repaint and the national colors shield was also separately carefully concealed at a later time.
Just a couple very minor chips to the eagle decal, which rates about 97% condition.
The shell size is a 60 and the chinstrap is well marked. The liner is also in almost mint condition.
An exceptional example of this type.
You will wait years to find another in this condition, with all the features undamaged.
This is a top shelf, Luftwaffe battlefield M42 by ET, in excellent condition showing light service use. This is a large shell size 66, Heat lot number #1530.
The excellent leather liner assembly and strap are untouched original to the helmet. which bears overall more than 95% of its original finish, an almost 100% decal, and very light service wear. You cannot go wrong with this great example.
This size and quality are seldom available in this condition, and NEVER cheap! Don't waste your valuable time, only to come back and find the opportunity gone. If you only want a single example or you would love to own 2 dozen, This great helmet will never make you regret what it cost!
This is an excellent complete example of a Battlefield Captured Heer Single decal, M42 Helmet. It is size ET62, #1575. The helmet retains its original lightly worn, solid strap and liner. A vet estate find and untouched. It bears the initials of the owner, and shows very moderate service use overall. An excellent addition to the collection. If you fear fakes this great original, is for you.
M16 Helmet, 1920s
During the Austro-Hungarian Empire this helmet, BGB manufactured ?Austrian? shell, is a classic example of the production during the imperial and post-imperial periods.
The tell tale features are the dark olive tan finish, and the split-cup chinstrap assembly.
These helmets, were purchased by the Heer and the fledgling ALLGEMEINE SS, who re-finished them for their respective purposes.
It is incredible, even in ASTOUNDING All Original condition, for being manufactured a full CENTURY AGO !!
I have owned 2 of the 'Earth Brown' SS helmets in the distant past. And I regret letting them go.4
Existing examples of both Early Heer, and SS transitional helmets, feature these domed rivets and unusual chinstraps, with the only modification being the German paint finish and decals added later.
A unique original helmet, with a cool history.
Hundreds were removed decades ago in Europe. From captured German combat helmets. They were repainted Black for use by Czech firemen survived almost mint from storage . Around 1980 these were available. The guys who acquired them all sold for a quick buck. I didn't!
I Have all sorts of original salvaged Stahlhelm parts, feel free to ask..
I have various sizes of complete original WW2 German combat helmet steel wartime liner frames, complete with the inner spring band.
$55 each while they last. Or you can buy the Chinese made fake junk everybody is selling, instead of these 80 year old frames I have.
I also have numerous Liner frames without the inner band for $30 each.
have 6 Luftschutz helmets, all mottos clearly readable and they have liners. Some have chinstraps. Have 5 coal black ones (as shown in the example) and 1 medium blue helmet. When I was a kid, I used to ride around on a bike with my Luftschutz helmet (not one of these) Kids in the neighborhood would comment, Hotsy totsi, we got a New Nazi. All gladiator style helmets, good for display in a collection. Cost is per helmet.
I am selling off my nearly forty year collection pieces of mixed Third Reich Militaria. Some pieces will not be guaranteed because there are simply too many fakes. If they ARE NOT guaranteed it will be stated in the description.
This is the Luftschutz M38 "Gladiator" Helmet (Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) Stahlhelm fur einen Angehorigen der Fabrikwache). It is constructed in three pieces, stamped, sheet steel helmet which retains most of its original, smooth, dark satin blue paint. The front center of the helmet has a Luftschutz emblem decal with about 85% remaining (there is some loss of the bottom section of the swastika). The black detailed, silver decal features stylized spread wings with a central oak-leaf sprig and a canted swastika positioned below a scripted banner, "Luftschutz." The helmet has two groups of seven "salt & pepper" ventilation holes to either side of the crown. All three of the small, flat headed, liner retaining rivets are intact. The helmet has an embosse
