I am selling off my nearly forty year collection pieces of mixed Third Reich Militaria. Some pieces will not be guaranteed because there are simply too many fakes. If they ARE NOT guaranteed it will be stated in the description. This is the NSDAP Jugend Brass Buckle - 28(2).22 NSDAP Jugend (Hitler Jugend Koppelschloss mit mobilem Hakenkreuz auf versilberter Rondelle). This is the small size youth brass buckle. It means 55 mm by 40 mm, slightly convex, stamped brass, two-piece construction buckle. It features, to its obverse, a plain field upon which is an embossed, political-style national eagle clutching the laurel surround to a mobile swastika on a slightly domed, plain field. The eagle's head falls on the inside of a ribbed border with simulated twisted rope trim to its inner and outer edges. The ribbed border, which is 35 mm in outside diameter, has a spray of oak leaves to its base, with the eagle's wings extending into it at the top. To the reverse is its raised buckle c

I am selling off my nearly forty year collection pieces of mixed Third Reich Militaria. Some pieces will not be guaranteed because there are simply too many fakes. If they ARE NOT guaranteed it will be stated in the description. This is a NSDAP Justice Official Aluminum Buckle 1937-1945 - 31(15)133a Justice Official Type II (Feldbindenschloss fur Justiz-Beamte). This buckle is in stamped aluminum, maker-marked "O & C" (Overhoff & Cie, Ludenscheid) and also marked "ges.gesch." (Gesetzlich Geschutzt) on the reverse, measuring 49.7 mm, and has both keepers. This buckle is in absolute mint condition and difficult to obtain. I purchased it in 2004 from Helmut Weitze in Hamburg. This buckle is discussed and valued at $550.00 in "An Illustrated Handbook and Price Guide - Third Reich Belt Buckles" by Bob Evans (1st Edition, 1999) page 32. Also, this buckle is discussed in "Belt, Buckles, & Brocades of the Third Reich - Revised Edition" by LTC J.R. Angolia (1st Edition), pages 453-455.
