This is the Iceland "EIMSKIPAFJELAG - ISLANDS" Coat Button (Island "EIMSKIPAFJELAG - ISLANDS" Mantelknopf). This is a fire-gilded button (24.1 mm) with swastikas and motto: "EIMSKIPAFJELAG - ISLANDS." It was most likely worn on a heavy company coat. The button is in mint condition and does not indicate a maker. Although Iceland was occupied by the British during WW2, there were many individuals and companies that were sympathetic to the Nazi regime. The "EIMSKIPAFJELAG - ISLANDS" company was founded in 1917 as a shipping company in Iceland.

This is the German Red Cross DRK Aluminum EM Buckle - 314(3).79 Red Cross (Pattern 1938) (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Gurtelschnalle). This buckle is constructed of molded aluminum with the obverse bearing a raised DRK-style German national eagle, clutching a Geneva Cross and overlaid by a mobile swastika, within an oval laurel wreath, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs. The reverse is marked "GES.GESCH." and also maker-marked "oLc" which is the logo of Overhoff & Cie, Ludenscheid. The buckle measures 64 mm (w) by 48 mm (h) and is in mint condition.

This is a Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Officer's Buckle - 213(15).45 (Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Fuhrer Feldbinden Schloss aus Aluminium). This is the Reich Labor Service (RAD) leader field sash lock made of aluminum. The obverse is the RAD insignia in the form of a shovel head overlaid by a mobile swastika, set within a circular wheat stalk wreath. The reverse is both maker marked and dated. The maker mark is "A" for "F.A. Assmann & Sohne, Ludenscheid" and dated "37" is for 1937. The "DRGM" stands for Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster. The buckle has been worn, but remains in outstanding condition and hard to find.

This is a German Red Cross DRK Aluminum Officer's Buckle - 314(6).80 (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK) Feldbindenschloss fur Fuhrer). It is constructed of stamped aluminum, the obverse with a full laurel wreath along the edge with a second pattern Red Cross eagle in the center. The reverse a standard double-claw prong and catch, marked "GES.GESCH." which is an abbreviation for "Gesetzlich Geschutzt" and is the German equivalent of a trademark or patent. It is also maker marked "2" for manufacturer "C.E. Juncker of Berlin." The buckle measures 49 mm in diameter, and is in near mint condition. Very little wear can be seen. A difficult buckle to find for any collector.

This is a Nazi Fire Defense EM Bronze Buckle - 33(3a).118 (Koppelschloss Freiwillige Feuerwehr). This buckle is a two piece, die-stamped, solid brass alloy construction with a silvered rondelle attached. The rondelle is marked "Gott zur Ehr - Dem Nachsten zur Wehr." It is unmarked to the reverse, but could be an Assmann & Sohne. It is in excellent condition. These buckles were in use from 1900-1934. This buckle is discussed in "Belt, Buckles, & Brocades of the Third Reich - Revised Edition" by LTC J.R. Angolia (1st Edition), page 422.

This is the Saxony Fire Defence Service Officer's Belt Buckle, 33(16).99 (Koppelschloss fur Offiziere des Sachsischen Feuerwehrdienstes). This is the fire police officer's dress buckle for Saxony/Sachsen. It is in silvered nickel and toned. The reverse is unmarked as to a maker and it measures 48.8 mm. It has light wear and is in extremely fine. This buckle is illustrated on page 433 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection. A great buckle in amazing condition.

This is a Deutsches Rotes Kreuz DRK Nickle E.M. Buckle with Leather Tab - 314(1).78 Red Cross (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz DRK Nickle E.M. Schnalle mit Lederzunge). This is the 1933 pattern, 65 mm by 50 mm (for the standard 45 mm belt). The buckle is slightly convex, stamped alloy, nickel/silver plated, two-piece construction buckle. The front face plate features the DRK cross encompassed by a 45 mm dual rope border with a spray of oak leaves to its base. To the reverse is its raised buckle catch, and a prong bar with dual prongs, for the belt's retaining tongue. The reverse and leather tab are both unmarked as to maker. This is a National Forestry Officers Aluminum Buckle - 35(1).68a (Staatsforstdienst 3. Reich Feldbindenschloss). This buckle is roughly 55 mm wide x 52 mm tall, horizontally oval, stamped, two-piece, burnished aluminum, belt buckle features a highly embossed oak-leaf wreath encompassing a right facing, political style eagle with out-stretched wings on a slightly domed, pebbled central field. Both eagle and wreath feature nice detailing. The reverse of buckle is a mirror image of obverse and has a separate circular plate insert with crimped catch and retaining hook. Circular plate is secured by crimped outer edges of the buckles obverse. Retaining hook secures the open rectangular bar. It is unmarked as to maker and is in mint condition. I purchased

This is the NSFK EM/NCO Nickle Buckle - 24(1).32a with high eagle (NSFK Koppelschloss fur Mannschaften). This is the early matte one piece nickel constructed NSFK buckle. The eagle's head falls on the outside of a ribbed border with simulated twisted rope trim to its inner and outer edges. The buckle is unmarked to the reverse. The catch, prong bar and prongs all intact. It is in outstanding condition. I purchased it in 2002 from a private collector. This buckle is discussed in "Belt, Buckles, & Brocades of the Third Reich - Revised Edition" by LTC J.R. Angolia (1st Edition), page 254.

This is a Police Officer's Aluminum Buckle - 31(9).86 (III. Reich Deutsche Polizei Feldbindenschloss fur Offizier). This is the 1936 pattern, silver washed, die struck, aluminum construction Polizei Officer's belt buckle features a central, high relief, embossed, smooth field, canted swastika on a subtly pebbled field, encompassed by a stepped down, outer edge with the embossed Gothic script to the top, "Gott mitt uns", (God with Us), and an embossed, oak-leaf, half-wreath to the bottom also on a subtly pebbled field. The reverse of the buckle has a separate, raised buckle catch, inset into a circular recess with crimped retainers, an open, rectangular, prong bar retainer with the prong bar and prongs all intact.
