Don't be fooled. It's easy to build a site that makes you look like a big time dealer. Just load it up with pics of rare militaria that you don't own and then mark it all "sold". The collectors will think you're a real player and be so impressed they'll keep coming back to see your latest treasure... Oops! Just missed out on that one too! We don't want our site to be like that.
No dealer gets a lot of "rare" items. Why? Because they are rare. Try not to be too impressed by what you could "almost" buy. And please delete your ads when the items are sold.
If you see something you are serious about acquiring send me a message. These are all VERY nice condition, especially when compared with all the beat up items for sale now.
mid to late war steel gray general issue buckle almost 100% condition with some light rubs to the surface... Check out the European guys asking $250 and $300!
North Vietnamese Army Officer Belt and buckle
Original Bring Back from Cu-Chi tunnels area.
Lots of fakes and modern junk out there but comparatively few real ones like this!
This buckle was faked in Aluminum as early as 1984 as far as I can tell. About the same time the "Czech SS Aluminum EM" Buckles, started appearing in the displays of the European dealers at our USA Shows.
(Back when the first spools of "RZM LABELED" "SS Uniform Thread" Started appearing from those same European dealers.....
Almost every example I have had in hand since that time has been a fraudulent piece of junk. Sure they look pretty at first glance, but side by side with this genuine one I own they just do not compare.
So if you want to bargain hunt good luck. The nice aluminum copy sells for about 40-60 pounds Sterling if you can find one that the owner is not trying to pass of as an original.
If however you want to own a dead mint original, here it is.
I have 5 or 6 of these in excellent condition, that I bought over the years because they were in such great condition and so cheap at the time. My choice $ 165. I will send pics to anyone willing to spend the money without hassling me over price.
A perfect example of the Freiwillige or Volunteer Legion Buckle. I am of the opinion that these are NOT penal battalion buckles as has been so long thought. I have seen photos of these on foreign troops of the Wehrmacht. This is NEAR mint condition.
I have dropped the price from $150 to move it out!

There were few punishment battalions in the German military.

Early war Aluminum by Friedrich Lauer, Wartime steel Pebbled center, and wartime steel smooth. ALL Three from different dies!
Some of the rarest buckles from WW Germany and even the buckle collectors cannot appreciate what they are because no "Cool eagle and swasisticker of them Nazis"
Collectors are confused by the mis-identification of the generic steel "Brain" industry workers buckle with no Motto, wreath or national symbol, as being for these probationary service personnel .
These are the buckle made with no National Emblem but retaining the Heer Motto, worn until reinstatement of membership in the ranks, by Military Prisoners serving sentences .
If you see one you might like to own, feel free to contact me for a reasonable and fair price.
Note that almost every buckle I offer, has all its eagle metal detail still present.
I find that fewer than 40% of surviving buckles are not heavily worn, So much so, the eagle appears to be only an eagle shaped scar ! Most of them are NOT even military branch buckles.

FOR SALE: a most interesting U.S. Army officer's belt & buckle combination, still in the original box-of-issue. The standard brass buckle has actually been plated in 24K gold! The canvas web belt is a respectable 33" long (circa 84 centimeters). The original cardboard box measures roughly 9" long x 2" wide x 2" tall and remains in excellent-plus condition with no busted corners. This set has definitely been worn, but only shows modest age overall, with wear primarily to the buckle. $65 includes domestic postage (CONUS). International shipments @ actual cost. I assume PayPal payment (no extra charge from my side), but I also accept cash, personal checks and postal money-orders.
Aluminum enlisted Social Welfare buckle showing very little use, as the detail to the raised front surface area is near perfect, Reverse marked " ges. gesch. 1 ", and showing just minor evidence of having once been on a belt, excellent
2nd Pattern RLB aluminum silver-grey painted buckle with the "LUFTSCHUTZ" winged emblem. Has about 93% paint intact on the front, and the un-marked reverse has almost totally turned a dark grey. Very Good
Water Police EM/NCO gilded pebbled steel buckle with a 1943 dated leather tab stamped with maker "C.T.H. Dicke" located in Ludenshield. Has about 90% exterior finish, and where most of it is missing is on the lower edge. From my experience, one of the more difficult Police buckles to acquired. Very Good
Political Leader's Gold buckle with an un-marked wide brown leather belt. Buckle has some light wear to highlights on front and a few small spots of missing finish on reverse. Buckle marked with an RZM and maker's code "M4/27". Belt has slides, sewn-on keeper, and apart from needing some polish, without issue. Very Good
