An original West Wall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen) with it`s original envelope. The medal is oval-shaped appears to be struck in bronze (or zinc) and has a Bronze wash finnish which has mostly faded. It has a border of overlapping oak leaves with crossed sword and shovel which represent the Siegfried line, with the Wehrmacht eagle above complete with suspension loop, unmarked. I don`t think it`s an original ribbon. The reverse of the medal bears the inscription FUR ARBEIT SCHUTZ DEUTLANDS which translates to (FOR WORK IN THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY). The medal has no damage or repairs and is in very good condition. GBP 44.00 plus postage

The "Kriegsverdienstkreuz II mit Schwertern" was instituted on October 18th 1939, in two classes, with and without swords, for both military personnel and civilians, for exemplary service or bravery in a non-combatant role. Good all round condition, ribbon looks original, not sure of the metal, and I can find no makers mark. GBP 35.00 (in EU 40.00) plus postage.

Textbook example of the supporting members lapel pin made by Deschler of Munich. The pin features an enameled obverse, serial numbered and maker's marked reverse. Marked '15383' to reverse along with 'Ges Gesch' and 'Deschler MCHN 9'. Very nice condition!
