scimitar-wielding hand and mobile swastika machine embroidered
in silver-grey thread on the soft black wool; the buckram stiffener
is the very tight weave and lightly browned;
fine looking tab in Mint condition; great example
Rare collar tab of Vidkun Quislings Body Guard Detachment
Metal Norway Hird "Raven w/ Sunwheel' device attached at top
and V. Q. metal devices which is for Vidkun Quisling.
Black wool over galvanized steel plate (collar tab is heavy)
this is the larger variant for the great coat which is more rare than
the smaller tunic tabs.
More Information:
This tab was for the Forergarde which was the personal Guard of Vidkun Quisling,
who was the leader of the puppet Norwegian government during World War II
It was founded in 1942 and consisted of 150 men, personally selected by Quisling
from members of the Hird, the paramilitary wing of the fascist Nasjonal Samling party (NS).
Over time, the unit grew to 250-300 men.
They also recruited veterans from the Volunteer Norwegian Legion and SS-Polizei-Battalion 506.

(SS Standarte 1 'Deutschland' Scharfuhrer Kragenspiegel).
Matching set of SS Standarte-1 'Deutschland' Scharfuhrer rank collar tabs,
consisting of a left and right collar tab, constructed of a black wool upper
and a buckram core, one tab with a silver aluminum bullion hand embroidered
set of SS Sig runes and the numeral '1'denoting use by the Standarte Deutschland,
the other tab with a single silvered zink rank pip and a horizontally running strip of
silver aluminum bullion tresse towards the bottom of the tab, both tabs are edged
by piping consisting of alternative black string and silver aluminum bullion wires,
measuring 58 mm (w) x 44 mm (l), in overall near mint condition.
Partial RZM Tag on reverse of the SS Rune tab.

This piece came directly from a veteran at the end of the war
he was assigned to removing insignia from captured uniforms-
he used to send them home to his wife state-side and she collected them for
him and attached them to rolls of material-including medals and awards.
I had many that still had uniform material attached- sold all of those.

Has matching Untersturmfuhrer rank tab w/ three rank pips.
so-called Dachau made insignia commonly brought back from US Veterans
from the SS Clothing depot.
I believe this to be a real SS Officer's collar tab.... Has tight silver thread around the corners which I understand is a good sign....looks like text book period construction... UV neg.....no mothing or lose stitching... Not really up on current prices on these tabs but you can make me a fair offer.... Opinion's welcome... Any questions just ask...

Waffen-Gebirgs-Div. der SS "Skanderbeg"). This right collar tab is machine-embroidered in silver-gray thread on top of a black wool background. This single right tab is constructed of black wool with a buckram core. The obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-gray Sturmabteilung (SA) insignia. This is a single Waffen-SS 29th Waffen Grenadier Division der SS (Italienische Nr. 1) Right Collar Tab (Waffen-SS Einzel Kragenspiegel der 29. Waffen-Gren.-Div. der SS (italienische Nr.1)). This collar tab is the second pattern constructed of high quality gray machine embroidery; on a black wool backer. There is a single reinforcement stitch on the reverse on standard buckram core. It measuring 55 mm by 41 mm. This collar tab is discussed in "Cloth Insignia Of The SS, Updated" by LTC J.R. Angolia (2nd Edition), page 379. Also, this tab was worn by the Italian-SS Brigade (after June 15, 1944) and also by the German Troops assigned to the Italian-SS Brigade. The tab is unissued and in great condition.

This is a single Allgemeine-SS Shoulder Board (October 1934 Regulations) (Allgemeine SS/SS-Verfugungstruppe Schulterstuck fur Mannschaften um 1935). This is the second pattern shoulder board (circa October 1934-May 1945). It is narrow measuring 20 mm by 130 mm. It is the sew-in type. The shoulder board/strap of dual, alternating, twisted, bright, silver/aluminum and dual, black rayon cords mounted on a black wool base. After the October 1934 regulations a single strap/board was worn on the black and two on the field gray uniform. The regulation remained until the end of the war. This board is unissued and in near mint condition. Collector label is still attached on the reverse.

This is a Waffen-SS Signal Corps EM Shoulder Boards (Waffen-SS Signal Corps EM Schulterklappen). A matching set of almost a choice pair of textbook Waffen-SS enlisted mans signal corps shoulder straps. Factory construction on black wool. Rayon bright yellow piping and feldgrau wool lining. These EM Shoulder Boards are discussed in "Cloth Insignia Of The SS, Updated" by LTC J.R. Angolia (2nd Edition), page 245. They are in excellent condition, however someone has cut off the tongues. Still a great display set.

This is a set of Waffen-SS Schutzmannschaften Collar Tabs for a Korporal/Corporal (Kragenspiegel der Waffen-SS-Schutzmannschaften fur einen Korporal). They are a matching pair on black wool base with 1 bar of silver tress for the rank of Corporal. They are mounted on tan buckram base, and have been uniform removed. These tabs are very rare and in outstanding condition.

This is a rare 1st pattern example of the final type SS Totenkopfverband enlisted man's skull collar tab, and NOT a common Dachau skull. Yes I know it is not cheap. Replicas are available and cheap.
SS Bevo Ranks are way rarer than other bevo SS Tabs. Barely any of these rank tabs were interesting to Veterans. They wanted the lightning bolts and skulls, and just look at how rare and sought after those are!
