This is a Dutch Nazi NAD Sports Medal (Niederlande - Nederlandsche Arbeidsdienst "Ick dien" (Ich diene) Sportabzeichen als Miniatur am Band). The obverse is imprinted with a large "S" and the slogan "Ick dien" translates "I serve." This small zinc badge is in excellent condition. I purchased it in 2000 from AAG International.

Gold colored metal pin badge featuring the text NS and the slogan Vlasti Zdar.
The NS were the only permitted political party in Czechoslovakia under German occupation.
The organization existed from 1939 and was abolished in 1945
The badge face is 3.4cm wide and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.

Listing tonight a nice salty combat used Vietnam War ARVN Army of the Republic of Vietnam beret. The beret is a small size, worn example, in the field sewing mending on front portion,bullion insignia,appears blue ink pen on Frogskin Parachute Camo lining a name written. The beret has been stored in the folded position for many years and will need a manaquin to help restore open fitting. In bronze gilt with red, blue and green enamels, type II (1940-1944) with fasces and "FERT", measuring 35.5 mm (w) x 43 mm (h), intact enamels, scattered gilt wear on the obverse, gilt flaking on the cartouche on the reverse, original ribbon, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Order of Skanderbeg was founded in 1925 by Ahmed ben Zogu, the then President of Albania, as an order of merit of the Albanian Republic. It was was revised in 1940 under Italian rule and replaced by the Communist government in 1945 with a new award of the same name. Skanderbeg is the national hero of the Albanian people. The Albanian royal family currently maintains the Order of Skanderbeg as a dynastic order, which has only been awarded to a select number of people since the fall of the monarchy in 1939. This order should not be mistaken for the award of the same name which is currently given by the head of the Republi
Military Teaching Merit. Medal 64 x 51 mm. Gold metal and enamel. Obverse: Gold star with eight radiating points. Above the star is a green enamel laurel wreath. The blue enamel medallion features the heads of Minerva and Mars turned to the left. Around the medallion is a white enamel band with the inscriptions MERITO - DOCENTE - MILITAR (Military Teaching Merit). Reverse: embossed text in four lines: CREATED BY DECREE OF 27 JULY 1944. The suspension ring is the National Coat of Arms facing left. Ribbon with equal stripes, red, green, red. Grove D-587. Decoration awarded to directors and teachers of military schools. Created 27 July 1944.

This is the Finnish Commemorative Medal for the Liberty War 1918 (Finnland 1.Weltkrieg Vapaussodan Muistomitali 1918 - Medaille fur den Befreiungskrieg 1918.). This Finnish medal is made from silvered iron and comes with an original piece of ribbon. There were 71,000 medals were made between two companies. The reverse is maker marked "S. & Co." for "Sporrong & Co, Stockholm" and hall-marked with a woman's head on the reverse. It measures 30 mm in diameter and is in extremely good condition.
NOTE: Finland participated in the Second World War initially in a defensive war against the Soviet Union, followed by another, this time offensive, war against the Soviet Union acting in concert with Nazi Germany.

This is the Finnish "LOTTA-SVARD" War Nurse Enamel Silver Brooch (Mitgliedsabzeichen fur die finnische Lotta Schwert Organisation). This is a nice membership brooch for the Finnish Lotta-Svard Organisation. This brooch consists of a blue swastika with the wording "Lotta-Svard." To each arm of the swastika is the Finnish rose. On the reverse, it has a nice pin fixing and is silver hallmarked "OL U 813A HG." The nurse's issue numbered was "19507." There is no enamel damage. The brooch is a rather nice design, given to the Finnish female auxiliary service. This brooch is in excellent condition. I purchased it in 2002 from Battlefield Bookstore in Minneapolis, MN.

18mm x 18cm with a 4.5cm long straight pin.
