Don't be fooled. It's easy to build a site that makes you look like a big time dealer. Just load it up with pics of rare militaria that you don't own and then mark it all "sold". The collectors will think you're a real player and be so impressed they'll keep coming back to see your latest treasure... Oops! Just missed out on that one too! We don't want our site to be like that. No dealer gets a lot of "rare" items. Why? Because they are rare. Try not to be too impressed by what you could "almost" buy. And please delete your ads when the items are sold.

Perhaps the most desired award of the German Third Reich! The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. Awarded for extreme battlefield bravery or outstanding military leadership. As with all known originals, the cross is die struck with a three-piece constructed frame and an Iron/magnetic core. The single piece core is constructed out of an iron magnetic metal base. The two piece frame is constructed out of an "800" silver content. The top-reverse border is maker marked "2" ( known as the "Lazy 2" version) for maker C.E. Juncker along with "800" (silver content). The black matte paint is in wonderful condition 98%+ and the silver border has beautifully patinaed with time! The cross measures approximately 1 7/8 inches wide and tall (without the ring). Suspension loop correctly marked "800". Complete with worn neck ribbon measuring approx 25". A textbook example and truly an excellent piece that every collector aspires to have! Now is your chance. *Payment plans available*

OK First the technical stuff. and later the story. First examine all the edges front and rear. Perfectly sheared all around to an even thin wall. This being an arched award, that precision was never present on any early replicas. (things cost dollars, not thousands, back then. A set of hand carved stamping dies cost? They would have had to manufacture thousands just to break even on die cost alone, at those prices, and good luck finding another example today. Second actually examine the appearance front and back. NOT GOOFY like what is floating around. The zinc oxide is not yet any issue, just tiny surface specks. A q-tip and light oil will erase in and protect the surface for years. Today's new collectors are too poorly informed and not considering factors other than appearance, and the opinions of internet gurus on forums. Trusting the opinions of total strangers to influence your investing seems outright stupid to me, but just wait long enough and a book with some dire

Spanish Commemorative Medal for Russian Service in hollow relief. This strike, unlike the flat German made medal, from my experience, is very scarce. The black enamel of the Iron Cross is intact, and the ribbon, having the national colors of Spain and Germany at either edge, is without issue. At the top is a pin-back gold metal rectangular frame. Obverse has some slight darkening to the eagle, and the reverse has darkening to the high relief chain and Kremlin towers and their background. High Good

Winter Campaign in Russia 1941-1942 Medal. The unofficial name for it by the Germans who experienced the Russian winters was the "frozen Flesh Medal". The medal and ribbon are excellent, except for a small area on the reverse of the ribbon at the top left where it appears a small tag had been glued. The paper bag shows its age, but intact, and has the manufacturer's inked name, "fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart".

This is an autographed picture and IC 1 from a paratrooper that saw it all. Erich Schuster, with a picture 4 X 6 and his autograph on it. In the upper left hand corner is his IC1, a screwback with the notation L43683 Munchen 2 (Feldpost number?) He served in Belgium, Crete, Leningrad and Tunisia. He was awarded this medal on May 13, 1940 and received the RK on August 21, 1941. He was killed in Tunisia on January 11, 1943 and promoted to Oberleutant at that time. Wonderful piece of history. The medal is uncleaned and been with the picture for many years. I have owned it since the 90's and enjoyed it as it has been a centerpiece of my collection. I know you will enjoy it too. I have many items, drop me a line to see what treasures might fit into your chest.
