DAF Deutsche Arbeitsfront Armband
Typical BeVo machine woven style, with the toothed wheel and swastika
organizational emblem of the DAF in black thread on a light blue Rayon armband.
The condition of this is near mint, w/ only very slight age toning,
and bright original color.
The front of this armband has a great, still legible ink stamp of a DAF unit.
The construction of this DAF Deutsche Arbeitsfront Armband is textbook in all aspects,
sewn together in the back, with woven selvage edges on the top and bottom.
The maker code '26' is woven near the rear seam.
It would be hard to find a nicer example of a DAF armband.

Description:
German Hitler Youth / HJ Doctor Armband:
Textbook original example of the Hitler Youth Doctor Armband w/ RZM tag.
Made of machine woven rayon, with an red BeVo machine woven Life Rune
central located with red top and bottom BeVo stripes. This one is not worn
and is very vibrant. The interior of this Hitler Youth Doctor armband features
the original paper RZM tag, which is the correct type, with blue printing.
The tag shows matching wear to the rest of the armband. The armband is not
sewn together on the reverse. The materials and stitching on this are exactly
what one would expect to see on an original armband of this type.

with fine white cotton body. The large outstretched eagle is
again woven into the cloth BeVo style. A different variation
and I am sure there is some significant reason for white vs yellow

Constructed of a white cotton/rayon blende cloth base,
the exterior bearing a dyed black inscription of

a late-war example in better than very fine condition.

Relatively Rare, this one is in great shape. Nice piece! The pin featured here belonged to the NSBO, which went out of existence in 1934. It later became the GDAO, one of the labor unions of the Third Reich. The design of the pin consists of a gear with a hammer in front of it. At the base there are a couple of laurels and corn nuts. A swastika is placed midpoint of the handle of the hammer. A rectangular sign rests in the lower section and has the letters GDAO in block format. Made by the prestigious Deschler firm, and the quality shows.
A set of two Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgraberfursorge stickpins and badges, consisting of:
1) A Donation stickpin; in nickel-silver bronze; 40 mm pin; unmarked; measuring 25 mm x 17 mm.
2) RARE Donation badge; in bakelite; vertical pinback; unmarked; measuring 25 mm x 16 mm.
Overall very fine condition.

Nice quality multi-piece construction armband features a red wool, base field with a central, vertically ribbed, white rayon, circular field with a canted, ribbed, black rayon tape swastika to the front center. The top and bottom edges of the armband are bordered in the correct, 5/16" wide, (9mm wide), vertically ribbed, black rayon tape. The central white circular field. The swastika and the top and bottom edge border trim are all machine stitched to the armband. The reverse of the armband has a machine stitched, vertical, seam. Original RZM tag.

Rare Variant Original German WWII ?DEUTSCHER VOLKSSTURM WEHRMACHT? Armband
? Late war silk screened armband with excellent quality print. This is the rare variant with the eagles heads turn inward towards the lettering. They would have been distributed late in the war at the local level to units as needed. The armband has the edges sewn over and ends sewn together. In excellent condition.

A 1938 pattern armband as worn on the lower right sleeve of the service tunic by NS-RKB enlisted ranks.
Dark Navy blue/black wool armband with machine woven NS-RKB insignia. BeVo Insignia consists of a white bordered,

Constructed of Silvered Tombak, the obverse consisting of a detailed
Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above a trapezoidal
plaque bearing a raised date of '1939', the reverse with a block hinge and
tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring
45.32 mm (w) x 30.80 mm (h), weighing 9.8 grams, nice dark patina
-NEVER CLEANED, in overall near extremely fine condition.
The black coloring on reverse is patina-no missing silver finish.
The black patina is from when it was on a uniform for a long time
exposed to the atmosphere.
This Spange has been valued up to $650.00 online by various dealers.
Note: This variation is an example of a design produced by an unknown manufacturer

1937 George Vanderbilt Cup Race Souvenir Race Car Pinback. The race was held on July 5th 1937. Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany and the United States had their best drivers and cars to race in a 300 mile dirt track competition in Roosevelt Raceway in Long Island. The Vanderbilt Cup was the first major trophy in American auto racing. An international event, it was founded by William Kissam Vanderbilt II in 1904. There were no races in 1907, 1913, and 1917-1935. The Vanderbilt Cup was not held again until 1936 when William Kissam Vanderbilt II's nephew, George Washington Vanderbilt III picked up the cause and sponsored a 300-mile (480 km) race at the new facilities at Roosevelt Raceway.
